April 26 2003: Albuquerque
trail clearing project, Manzano Mountain Wilderness. 100 yards
up the trail we found our first tree, no shortage of trees to
clear so far.
May 10 2003: Crest and Cerro Blanco trail clearing
project, Manzano Mountain Wilderness. Members working on a big
mess blocking the trail.
May 24 2003: Winsor Ridge/Skyline/Carpenter
Ridge trail project, Pecos Wilderness. Members riding up Winsor
Ridge trail, great views, loads of snow. We encountered 2 to
3 foot drifts by Stewart Lake at 10,500 feet.
May 24, 2003: Winsor Ridge Trail Pecos Wilderness.
Members working on a large Aspen. We cleared 34 trees in 15
miles off Winsor Ridge/Skyline/Carpenter Ridge trails.
May 25 2003: Cave Creek Trail Pecos Wilderness.
Members had plenty of trees to clear off the Cave Creek trail.
